Bilingual in Spanish<>English. She was born and raised in Mexico City. Her work is inspired by classic beauty, effortless elegance, art, people of different cultures, architecture, and travel. Her photography style is classic, refined, and natural, evoking the look of film on her digital files, and occasionally using 35mm and 120mm film in the mix. Darien specializes in combining documentary photography with natural and editorial portraits. Capturing the love connection and joyful moments of everyday life, milestones and celebrations. Her timeless and heartfelt imagery is to be enjoyed today and cherished forever.

…The experience of a photo shoot is in itself a gift to you and your loved ones, an hour or two in your busy life where you can reaffirm your love and connection by being present with one another.

I will connect with you before your session to understand your family dynamics, help you decide the best location for your session, and how to better prepare for it.
I will gently guide you during your session so that you are comfortable in front of my camera. I will help you create photo opportunities full of natural and genuine emotions between you and your loved ones.
I also love creating for you a few portraits with an editorial feel to them, directing you effortlessly into the best light and backdrops that highlight your best angles.
After your session, I will show you a few photo album samples (my favorite way to preserve photographs) so that you know what they look like in real life when you see them again in your photo gallery. I may design one for you, so that you have it ready to add to your cart when you see your gallery online. You can always customize it, it is there as a place to start, but you have control over what the final product looks like.
I will deliver gorgeous images. Encouraging you to print and display them in your home. After all, that’s how your children feel valued, when they see themselves on the walls and those albums around the house. Your photographs will be the tangible memory of those precious moments, the tangible legacy of your love; and that is PRICELESS.
