Meet Darien

Darien (she/her) is based in Nashville, TN. Bilingual in Spanish<>English. Born and raised in Mexico City. She graduated with a degree in journalism with emphasis on film from UNAM. Later continuing her photography education in NYC, at NYU, School of Visual Arts and the International Center of Photography.

Inspired by classic beauty, effortless elegance, art, people of different cultures, architecture, and travel. Her photography style is classic, refined, and natural, with an editorial twist.

THE PROCESS:

  • CONNECT — Contact me for availability and to book your session.

  • PLAN — I will send you a questionnaire to help me understand your vision and create a mood board (a visual guide/aesthetics inspiration) for your session. I will also help you with location selection and give you tips on how to prepare for your session.

  • PHOTOSHOOT — I will help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, so that your personality shines through your images. I will shoot a variety of poses, angles, simple portraits, action shots and details of your products or your place of work/tools.

  • SHARE — You will have months’ worth of content to share online, use on your website, and marketing campaigns.

  • REPEAT — You may want to schedule a quarterly photoshoot to create seasonal content for your branding; or schedule a short headshot session to update a few images on your website and social media.

  • ALL your digital files in both WEB-SIZE and HIGH RES files.

  • Web-Size digital files are ideal for online use, optimized for beautiful web viewing and fast uploading; but these files are not suitable for printing. HIGH RESOLUTION files are best for printing and billboard use.

  • Gallery shop with options to order prints, photo albums, and gifts, with 20% OFF on anything you order for the first couple of weeks your gallery is up. Your images will be so beautiful, you’ll want to order some prints as a gift for your mom or your significant other. ;)
