This spring wedding at Riverwood Mansion had all that and more. I had so much fun photographing Sarah and Charles in this top wedding venue in Nashville, TN.

Riverwood’s location is secluded enough to transport you to another time, but also just minutes from the heart of Nashville, in the creative and artistic East Nashville community. Riverwood Mansion has the Southern charm and sophistication that inspires classic romance, with towering magnolias, marble fireplaces and abundant chandeliers. Its courtyard arch was the perfect canvas for Kelly Lenard amazing floral arrangements for the outdoor ceremony space and table settings, featuring bleached ferns, orchids and antique pink roses.

The table settings had a perfect mix of softness brought by the flower arrangements, and clean lines—modern touches added by the silverware, and candles. One of my favorite details on this wedding (aside from the incredible cake with edible flowers by Trouvaille Bakery) was the gorgeous gown by Mira Zwillinger, looking ethereal at the golden hour. During the bridal portraits Sarah couldn’t stop playing with the flowy dress, it really made her look like out of a movie. If you are lucky to have a perfect sunset during your wedding, take a few moments to twirl your dress around pretending you are posing for Vogue. Your photographer will absolutely adore you.
