Family photos are always a great idea, and so much more when it involves three generations! | Darien Photography, Nashville family photographer

I love it when I get to photograph a family more than once a year. The first time I took pictures for this family, during my Quarantine Porch Sessions last year, the baby was still inside his pregnant mommy. Then I came back for pictures of 4 generations (mom's side) right after he was born. A fall session came after, and now a spring session with the grandparents (dad's side).

The world is still not what it used to be; their parents didn't let them play in the crowded playground just yet, but the kids had a great time anyway enjoying the nice spring weather we had that day and all the attention their grownups gave them while playing with them.

Each photo session has a particular feel to it, and each family is unique, but the constant for me when I photograph kids is: hope. I just smile when I see their wide-open eyes absorbing the newness of the world. It's so refreshing.
